It’s an Open-source school management system tool.

Step1. Install Apache

yum install httpd  -y

Step2. Start and enable service

systemctl start httpd
systemctl enable httpd

Step3. Install MariaDB

yum install mariadb mariadb-server  -y

Step4. Start and enable MariaDB

systemctl start mariadb
systemctl enable mariadb

Step5. Setup Database


Step6. Install PHP

yum install php php-mysql  php-gd php-ldap php-xml php-xmlrpc php-mbstring php-mcrypt curl zlib libtool-ltdl php-pdo -y

Step7. Add a line in php.ini file

#vi  /etc/php.ini
dispaly_errors = Off

Step8. Download tool


Step9. Unzip file


Step10. Move-in HTML folder

mv opensis /var/www/html/

Step11. Set permission

chown apache:apache -R /var/www/html/opensis/ 
chmod 777 /var/www/html/opensis/

Step12. Create a directory and virtual host file

#mkdir /etc/httpd/vhosts.d/
#vi  /etc/httpd/vhosts.d/

DocumentRoot "/var/www/html/opensis/"
ErrorLog "/var/log/httpd/"
CustomLog "/var/log/httpd/" combined
<Directory "/var/www/html/opensis/">
DirectoryIndex index.html index.php
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride All
Require all granted

Step13. Restart service

systemctl restart httpd

Step14. Access via browser

Step15. New Installation

Step16. Fill information

Server : localhost
Port : 3306
Admin username : root
Admin Password : Redhat@123_000

Step17. Save & Next

Step18. Fill information

School name: techservicedoc
Begin date : As per your organization 
End date : As per your organization     
Select->Install with sample school data

Step19. Select Next

Step20. Login with the Admin account provided by during GUI install.
