Step 1. Set up the FQDN name in /etc/hosts file

# sudo hostnamectl set-hostname jitsi.ubu.com
jitsi.ubu.com
Note: Replace it with your hostname

Step 2. Add the repository

echo 'deb https://download.jitsi.org stable/' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jitsi- stable.list

Step 3. Import the API

wget -qO - https://download.jitsi.org/jitsi-key.gpg.key | sudo apt-key add -

Step 4. Update the system

sudo apt update

Step 5. Install the jitsi and follow the instrustions

sudo apt install jitsi-meet

Step 6. Check the service status

systemctl status jitsi-videobridge2

Step 7. Allow port in firewall

sudo ufw allow 80/tcp
sudo ufw allow 443/tcp
sudo ufw allow 4443/tcp
sudo ufw allow 10000/udp
sudo ufw allow 22/tcp
sudo ufw enable

Step 8. Check the firewall status

sudo ufw status verbose

Step 9. Now access via browser.
