Step1. Install packages

yum install httpd wget -y

Step2. Start/enable service

systemctl start httpd.service
systemctl enable httpd.service

Step3. Remove default welcome page

vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf

Note: Comment each line using (#) and save the file

#<LocationMatch "^/+$"> 
#Options -Indexes 
#<Directory /usr/share/httpd/noindex>
#AllowOverride None
#Require all granted
#Alias /.noindex.html /usr/share/httpd/noindex/index.html
#Alias /noindex/css/bootstrap.min.css /usr/share/httpd/noindex/css/bootstrap.min.css
#Alias /noindex/css/open-sans.css /usr/share/httpd/noindex/css/open-sans.css
#Alias /images/apache_pb.gif /usr/share/httpd/noindex/images/apache_pb.gif
#Alias /images/poweredby.png /usr/share/httpd/noindex/images/poweredby.png

Step4. Replace the line in httpd.conf file

vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Replace: Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
With: Options FollowSymLinks

Step5. Allow in firewall

firewall-cmd --zone=public --permanent --add-service=http
firewall-cmd --reload

Step6. Install database packages

yum install mariadb mariadb-server

Step7. Start/enable service

systemctl start mariadb.service
systemctl enable mariadb.service

Step8. Setup database


Step9. Create a a database

mysql -u root -p
CREATE USER 'dotprojectuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'yourpassword';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON dotproject.* TO 'dotprojectuser'@'localhost';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON dotproject.* TO 'dotprojectuser'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'yourpassword' WITH GRANT OPTION;

Step10. Install the PHP packages

yum install php php-gd php-mbstring php-mysqli php-curl php-ldap php-xsl php-xml php-cli php-pear

Step11. Add entries in php.ini file

vi /etc/php.ini
date.timezone = America/Los_Angeles
session.auto_start = 1
session.use_trans_sid = 0
memory_limit = 128M 

Step12. Restart service

systemctl restart httpd mariadb

Step13. Download software

cd ~
wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/dotproject/dotproject/dotProject%20Version%202.1.8/dotproject-2.1.8.tar.gz

Step14. Untar file

tar -zxvf dotproject-2.1.8.tar.gz

Step15. Change ownership

chown -R apache: dotproject/

Step16. Move folder in HTML

mv dotproject/ /var/www/html/

Step17. Access via browser and start installation


Note: Make sure below points during web installation

"Database Settings" screen, replace the default "Database User Name" and "Database User Password" 
On the next screen
Click "Login and Configure the dotProject System Enviorment"
Default credentials:
Username: admin
Password: passwd
