Package Requirement:

Infoglue :- 3.1.0 War
jakarta-tomcat :- 5.0.28.tar.gz
jdk-8u191-linux-x64.tar.gz

Step1. Download and untar jakarta-tomcat

wget https://archive.apache.org/dist/tomcat/tomcat-5/v5.0.28/bin/jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28.tar.gz
tar -xvf jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28.tar.gz

Step2. Rename folder

mv jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28 Tomcat

Step3. change permission

chmod -R +x Tomcat

Step4. Remove webapps folder

rm -rf /opt/Tomcat/webapps/*

Step5. Download jdk-8u191-linux-x64.tar.gz

cd  /opt/
Download url --- https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

Step6. Untar file

tar -xvf jdk-8u191-linux-x64.tar.gz
mv jdk1.8.0_191 JDK      

Step7. Add line in catalina.sh

vim /opt/Tomcat/bin/catalina.sh       
!/bin/sh
JAVA_HOME=/opt/JDK

Step8. Checking tomcat version

cd /opt/Tomcat
./opt/Tomcat/bin/version.sh
Using CATALINA_BASE:   /opt/Tomcat
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /opt/Tomcat
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /opt/Tomcat/temp
Using JAVA_HOME:       /opt/JDK
Version: Apache Tomcat/5.0.28

Step9. Download the war file infoglue

wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/infoglue/files/latest/download

Step10. Install unzip package

yum install unzip

Step11. Unzip Package

unzip download

Step12. Rename infoglue folder

mv  Infoglue\ 3.1.0\ War\ release/   Infoglue_war

Step13. Configure Infoglue

cp /opt/Infoglue_war/infoglueCMS.war /opt/Tomcat/webapps/.
cd /opt/Tomcat/webapps/
mkdir  infoglueCMS
mv infoglueCMS.war infoglueCMS/.
cd infoglueCMS
/opt/JDK/bin/jar -xvf infoglueCMS.war
rm infoglueCMS.war -rf
cd /opt/Tomcat/
cp -r /opt/Infoglue_war/tomcat\ lib/*  webapps/infoglueCMS/WEB-INF/lib/.
cd /opt/Tomcat/
cp -r /opt/Infoglue_war/tomcat\ lib/* server/lib/.

Step14. Install database

yum install mariadb mariadb-server 

Step15. Enable and check status service

systemctl enable mariadb
systemctl status mariadb

Step16. Create database

mysql -u root -p   
create user infoglue;
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON infoglue.* TO 'infoglue'@'localhost';
SET PASSWORD FOR 'infoglue'@'localhost' = PASSWORD ('changeit');
GRANT all ON . TO 'infoglue'@localhost;
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
exit;

Step17. Start application

cd /opt/Tomcat
./bin/startup.sh

Step18. review logs

tail -f logs/catalina.out

Step19. Access via browser

Open the URL -- http://server_ip:8080/infoglueCMS

Step20:- Restart the application and access again on browser

./opt/Tomcat/bin/shutdown.sh
./opt/Tomcat/bin/startup.sh
tail -f logs/catalina.out
