BigTree CMS is a lightweight, fast and open-source content management system written in PHP. It is used for the MySQL database. It provides an easy user-friendly web interface.

Step1. Install packages

yum install httpd  mariadb mariadb-server

Step2. Start and enable services

systemctl start httpd
systemctl enable httpd
systemctl status httpd
systemctl start mariadb
systemctl enable mariadb
systemctl status mariadb

Step3. Setup database

mysql_secure_installation 

Step4. Create a database and user

mysql -u root  -p
show databases;
Create database bigtreedb;
CREATE USER 'bigtree'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'redhat@123';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON bigtreedb.* TO 'bigtree'@'localhost';
CREATE USER 'bigtree'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'redhat@123';
select Host,User,Password from user;
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON bigtreedb.* TO 'bigtree'@'%';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
quit

Step5. Install and configure PHP repository

yum install http://rpms.remirepo.net/enterprise/remi-release-7.rpm
yum install yum-utils
yum-config-manager --enable remi-php72

Step6. Install PHP packages

yum install php-mysql php-gd php-ldap php-xml php-xmlrpc php-mbstring php-mcrypt curl zlib libtool-ltdl php-pdo

Step7. Add lines in /etc/php.ini

vi  /etc/php.ini
upload_max_filesize = 8M
short_open_tag = On

Step8. Download the Package.

wget https://github.com/bigtreecms/BigTree-CMS/archive/4.4.7.zip

Step9. Unzip file

unzip BigTreeCMS-4.4.7.zip

Step10. Rename folder

mv BigTree-CMS Bigtree

Step11. Copy folder in /var/www/HTML folder

cp -r Bigtree /var/www/html/

Step11. Create a virtual host file

vi /etc/httpd/conf.d/bigtree.conf

<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerAdmin localhost
DocumentRoot "/var/www/html/Bigtree/"
ServerName 192.168.33.51
ErrorLog "/var/log/httpd/Bigtree-error_log"
CustomLog "/var/log/httpd/Bigtree-access_log" combined

<Directory "/var/www/html/Bigtree/">
     DirectoryIndex index.html index.php install.php
     Options FollowSymLinks
     AllowOverride All
     Require all granted
</Directory>
</VirtualHost>

Step12. Change ownership

chown apache: /var/www/html/Bigtree -R

Step13. Start service

systemctl restart httpd 

Step14. Access via browser

http://<server ip>
